The Observation Process
The observation process implemented will consist of three phases: pre-observation, observation, and post-observation. Conducting observations in this way allow us to determine an area of focus for the observation and reflect on the experience following the observation. According to Developmental Supervision, the observation process should be an opportunity in which teachers and supervisors collaborate in an effort to improve student learning. This experience is not based on judgement but rather professional growth for both you and I. The following tabs outline the procedures for each phase of this process and include links to the forms that will be used to guide each phase.
