Observation
Based on the pre-observation discussion, the observation phase of the process is then implemented. The purpose of the observation is for the observer to focus on the teacher's determined target area and to collect applicable data needed to provide the teacher with valuable feedback. As requested by the teacher, supervisors can function as active or passive participants during the observation. Below is the observation form that will be placed in the teacher's file following the observation process. This form reflects all three phases of the process, the pre-observation discussion, the observation, and the post-observation discussion.
